Rickie Fowler’s driver and fairway woods for 2023

Rickie Fowler’s bag this year boasts the Cobra Aerojet LS Driver (9 degrees), which has been equipped with a Mitsubishi Diamana prototype 70 X shaft. The golfer is a Cobra-Puma ambassador and has used the LTDxLS model in the past. “I felt the numbers were a bit tighter from the low-to-top end of the face, not as spinny on some misses, and the spin didn’t drop too much on some higher-on-the-face hits. With that, a little tighter with dispersion, left and right,” the 5-time PGA Tour winner had said about the change. “Then I actually went up about a half-degree (in loft) from where I was. The LS is a fairly low-spinning head, which has been great for me.

To go along with his driver, Fowler also takes the help of a couple of fairway woods. One of them is the Cobra Aerojet LS (13.5 degrees) with Aldila Tour Green Graphene TX Shaft. The other one is a Cobra King LTDx LS (17.5 degrees), featuring a UST Mamiya LINQ White 8 shaft.

The irons and wedges

Rickie Fowler has been a Cobra staff for quite a few years now and uses the Cobra King Forged Tour (4-PW). The particular iron also features KBS Tour C-Taper shafts. This particular equipment gives the golfer a great feel and control, allowing him to make tweaks on the go. In the past, Fowler has used blade irons, but the current irons in his setup ensure a tad bit more forgiveness in the head owing to its cavity-backed design.

Earlier, Rickie Fowler used the Titleist Vokey SM8s but has now changed things up. The Cobra King MIM has significantly boosted Fowler’s short game on the course. The wedges are available at 54, 56, and 58 degrees of loft. The unique Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology of the wedges permits amazing consistency and feel.

The putter and the ball

In recent times, Rickie Fowler’s putter situation has undergone a lot of changes. Earlier, the golfer’s bag boasted the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Prototype, which was allegedly made with Tiger Woods in mind. For a bit, the PGA Tour pro also relied on the Scotty Cameron GS Prototype. However, he is currently using the Odyssey Versa Jailbird putter. This particular golfing equipment comes with the Superstroke Tour 3.0 17-inch grip, allowing Fowler to maintain a strong hold and control over his shot.

As for his ball, Fowler relies on the Taylormade TP5x, which features a triangle Pix design. Previously, the Southern Californian golfer had used Titleist’s Pro V1 but made the switch to his new ball after signing with Taylormade.
