Jessica Korda has been busy being a mother for nearly two years now. The LPGA Tour star took a step back from the fairway after he sustained an injury in 2023. Later, she and her husband, Johnny DelPrete, gave birth to their baby, Greyson DelPrete. Since then, the 32-year-old has been a dedicated mother, watching after her toddler. Nearly two years later, Korda is about to make her return to the course in a few weeks. As she gets ready for it, she reveals what motherhood has looked like for her.

The off-duty pro golfer shared a story, sharing two sides of motherhood. One of the videos read, “What I thought cuddling with my toddler would be like,” and showed a baby koala hugging her mama in a tender moment. The video was the kind of tranquil situation Korda might have imagined motherhood to be like. But the reality was far from it, as the next video was captioned, “What it’s actually like.” It showed a baby panda climbing over her mom’s head, trying to hug her. It looked chaotic, but also very realistic.
The story may have encapsulated how her journey has been as a mother so far. It can be a roller-coaster ride, something that’s hard to prepare for. But there have been many times when she has also expressed how she has loved being a mother. When Nelly Korda asked her what she does all day, Jessica replied, “I’m truly having the time of my life,” as she shared pictures of spending time with Greyson. She may be excited to make her return to the golf course. But the 32-year-old has certainly not missed out on living her life to the fullest, as she got to watch her son grow up.
