Even though he didn’t participate in the Hero World Challenge, which Norwegian golfer, Victor Hovland won, the 46-year-old still has a clutch of tournaments on the waiting. But apart from steadily making his comeback to competitive golf, Woods also has sponsorship commitments to fulfill. In accordance with it, the golf legend has announced the opening of the new PopStroke property in Houston, scheduled for a grand opening next week.

His recent announcement is a product of his venture with PopStroke, which provides a unique golfing experience alongside the comforts of dining. The property incorporates two 18-hole courses designed for putting, which are designed by a design firm led by Woods himself.

PopStroke already has four locations across the US in Florida, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Port Saint Lucie. There are more spots in line for the exciting venture, with the Houston unveiling to be followed by the Glendale opening, as tweeted by Woods himself.

When will Woods return to action?

Woods has been active on his social media handles, be it keeping tabs on sponsorships, or revealing his schedule for what lies ahead. He was supposed to play at the Hero World Challenge but now will hit the course at the PNC Championship. Woods and his son, Charlie, finished runner-up at the previous edition of the event, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.

He has been out of action since the Open Championship back in July. Woods has taken a step back in his golf endeavors in recent years since a career-threatening car crash in February 2021. Appearances have waned in recent years – the 46-year-old only participated in three competitions this calendar year, all majors.
