‘The Guy That Impressed Me The Most’: Bryson DeChambeau Reveals His Learnings From Dustin Johnson

Bryson DeChambeau turned pro in 2016 and prior to becoming a professional, he played college golf for SMU. He won the 2015 US Amateur title and also won the NCCA title in the same year, eventually making him one of the famous college golfers.
In a recent podcast with Mark Golf Podcast, the US Open winner Bryson spoke about which professional golfer impresses him the most.

Bryson DeChambeau on Dustin Johnson
On the podcast, Bryson was talking about how some players find it easy to play the same way every time. He said, “I’m gonna figure out why Dustin Johnson. And this is it. This is the guy that impressed me the most is Dustin Johnson. Yeah, because he didn’t think about it didn’t really do much. Just boom, he would do it every single time.”
“So I started asking the question, what is Dustin doing that’s allowing him to be repeatable. And I started looking really closely through impact in his body, sir, looking at body positions.” Bryson added.

Bryson also took part in the World Long Drive Competition 2021. He finished in the 7th position after hitting a drive of 406 yards. Kyle Berkshire successfully defended his title, with a hit of a 422-yard drive as a result of beating Justin James.
