Over the last few months, we’ve all seen athletes release NFTs (nonfungible tokens) of their own. The buzz around those has increased with time, players as well as fans including in this digital collecting. This time, golf icon Tiger Woods is the latest addition to a list of celebrities to release a line of NFTs online.
According to recent reports, Woods taking part in this recent craze is via a company linked to NFL star Tom Brady. Let’s take a look at what exactly Woods has invested in.

What has Tiger Woods invested in?
Woods has reportedly worked with a company co-founded by Tom Brady called Autograph, which is in collaboration with Upper Deck. Woods will be releasing his own NFT collection via Autograph. Looking at Woods’ popularity, his NFTs are bound to work. Additionally, Woods is actually a part of Autograph’s advisory board.
Derek Jeter, Tony Hawk, Wayne Gretzky, Simone Biles, and Naomi Osaka are other icons who are a part of the advisory board. As of now, Brady and most other athletes have had NFTs released for them.

“The intersection of sports and technology is such an interesting space to me, and I’m thrilled to partner with Autograph as they lead the charge by ushering a new era of digital collecting,” the 45-year-old said. He added that it has of course been an honour to be a part of the advisory board along with all other iconic athletes. “I’m looking forward to bringing fans closer to my memorable sports moments at an accessible price, and to the game I respect so much”.
What will the NFTs contain?

His first collection will include ten thousand digital pictures of Woods and will range from $12 to $100. However, only 375 editions of the $100 edition will be available. To those serious about collecting, 300 NFTs with Woods’ signature are also coming but will be pricier, costing someone anything from $120 to $1500. Woods’ autographed version will drop on September 28.
