Experience met talent on the golf course when Scottie Scheffler boldly parted ways with his trusted caddie Shane Joel. He sought the assistance of veteran caddie Ted Scott, who had previously worked with the renowned golfer Bubba Watson, in a bid to up his game.

Often Scheffler has expressed his gratitude to Scott for his invaluable contribution to his success, while Scott marveled at Scheffler’s talent and work ethic. The brief but memorable partnership between the two players had golf fans eagerly anticipating what the future may hold for them. 

Moreover, their partnership is not just about the sport, sometimes they give the audience a glimpse into their humorously embarrassing on-course moments.

Scottie Scheffler had an oops moment at AP Bay Hill

On the greens, Ted was discussing the strategy of the shot with the former world no.1, when he suddenly farted. Ted even humorously apologized for it. “My bad there.”

Moreover, this is not the first time Scottie farted on the greens. During the 2022 Masters as well, such an incident happened. And then the commentator tried to cover for him by saying the noise was the wind. Furthermore, after the pressure release, Scottie took home the green jacket.

Scott tried to be the bigger this time and cover for his friend by taking the blame himself. But, unfortunately, everyone figured it out. However, the fans are absolutely amused by the whole incident. They think the pressure release was necessary for the outstanding performance Scottie served afterward. Moreover, some fans even appreciate Scott for trying to cover for the PGA Tour pro.

Now at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Scheffler expertly landed five birdies in the final seven holes, despite the unrelenting warm gusts making it one of the toughest rounds yet. With a score of 68, he fell just one shot behind the leader. Well, if history were to repeat itself, the fart is a sign that a 4-time major champion will sweep the victory from Kurt Kitayama.
