Kyle Berkshire created history as he secured his second consecutive PLDA world long drive title. The world number 1 amazed the field in Mesquite, Nevada, with his consistently brilliant performances.
He bettered his previous winning performance of 406-yards by smashing a monstrous 422-yard drive. He beat fellow American Justin James, who narrowly missed out by a 418-yard drive.
The 24-year-old from the University of North Texas was originally looking to make a breakthrough in professional golf. However, his coach noticed his potential for long driving and introduced him to it. Within three years, he was crowned as the world champion and has done it again this year.

James, on the other hand, struggled to even cross the 420 mark, something he has done frequently coming into the competition.
