The 30-year-old golf world sensation is truly one of the most relatable golfers of all time. Cameron Smith was recently seen stargazing at the names on the Hong Kong Open Trophy. The Australian professional golfer is playing at the Hong Kong Open currently.

His curious search to witness all those legends, specifically Australian golf legends, who have gotten their names on the famous trophy led him to Peter Thomson. Smith was quick to appreciate the victories made by this Australian sensation.

His admiration of Peter Thomson’s supreme set of skills made fans from around the world relate to him. Thomson had won the famous trophy three times during his career. The golfing star died at the age of 88 in 2018 following a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. Cam’s spirit of bringing the trophy home and getting his name on it just like Thomson’s was truly a heartwarming sight.
