When Makena White kissed Jake Knapp right after his PGA tour win a few months ago, the whole golf community started brooding over who she was and how her relationship with Knapp had come to be. Although the couple was known to have started dating in 2023, it only became official after their announcement a year later, with a live kiss. 

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not the only couple who have been flying in and out of sports courts; Makena White also flew in from Canada just to see the winning moments of the guy she is with. But do you know that White does not only like golf because of her boyfriend but has much interest in both golf and hockey? Makena White is a hard-working person 

The 26-year-old White has been in the sales industry for almost 8 years now. At present, White works as a permanent full-time sales representative at LeMaitre Vascular. She explained that her primary responsibility at work has been to aid in surgeries by making sure appropriate equipment is present. 

She wrote on her LinkedIn, “I ensure surgeons, primarily vascular and cardiac, have the equipment necessary to be successful in providing patients with the best possible care. An important part of this role is offering support to surgeons in operating room settings while they are using LeMaitre products. Above all, this role gives me the opportunity to help improve patient care by equipping surgeons and hospitals with the equipment necessary to change patients’ lives for the better.” However, the beginning of her career started when she was still in college.

She completed her education and received a degree in communications from McMaster University back in 2019. First, she worked for 5 months at Colonnade Bridgeport as a legal administrative intern, two years before her degree completion. Then, as ambitious as she is, White also moved to work for Labatt Breweries of Canada where she spent 5 years and 5 months working in several different positions at varying locations. From Campus Activation Manager to Sales and Merchandising Representative, she has worked there as a sales representative for 2 years now. 

Following this, White also worked as a surgical sales specialist at Hologic, Inc. for a year and four months from October 2021 to January 2023. But this sales rep is a devout fan of sports, and she practices them not only by posting them on her social media but by taking part in them as well.

Jake Knapp’s girlfriend has ties with golf

Knapp’s girl does not only support her boyfriend for sheer love; she has been a golfer since childhood as well. She once revealed on her X account how she initially had an interest in the sport but slowly dropped it in her late teen years. She also revealed how the sport made a comeback in her life.

“I was a good little golfer as a kid; Perth GC 7-9 jr champ, actually, no big deal. But from 16–21, I picked up a club, maybe five times total; I had no interest. Now here I am at 23, obsessed with the sport again, and today I got my first set of “big kid” clubs. I can’t wipe the smile off my face,” said White.

However, Makena White takes much interest in snowboarding, and from her cover photos on X to her posts on every social media handle, her participation and love for the sport show how invested her passion is in it.
