Phil Mickelson has a prolonged career of 30 years which seems to be running quite strong. We look back at an old tweet in which he shared the weirdest thing he has ever seen during a PGA Tournament.
The 51-year-old was at the Addison restaurant, which, according to Mickelson is the best restaurant in San Diego. It was at this moment that he decided to share a session of ‘Phireside with Phil’ on Twitter with his fans.
I was at Addison’s (best restaurant in SD and has 1 Michelin star) and I saw a fireplace. So I shot a quick Phireside with Phil. pic.twitter.com/jVqhxzcSDJ

In the video, Mickelson talks about a thief, a stolen bike, and an assault, all happening during a PGA event. It’s a story from the 1990 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro at Poppy Hills Golf Course, where Mickelson was about to have a tee shot at par 3.
Assault during a PGA event?
With a fairly less crowd watching him, Lefty noticed a man riding a bike through the gallery ropes. He says in the video, “One of the guys in the gallery takes his arm, and as he comes close to him, goes ‘Whack!’ and knocks him on his back.”
Shocked by the incident, Mickelson looked around at his pals to understand what was happening. However, what followed after shocked him even more.
The guy who knocked the bike stood over him and screamed, “That’s my bike!”. The thief stole the bike earlier in the day and would have never thought of crossing paths with the real owner. After the incident, the thief left the vehicle and ran off for his safety, leaving the bike with the real owner.
