In 2007, Mill was devastated after his split with his ex-wife, and he publicly accused his long-time best friend. They were very close friends because, according to Mill, he would have died for their friendship. “Greg Norman at one time was my best friend and a year and a half ago I would have taken a bullet for this guy,” said Mill. But he never imagined that his best friend would stab him in the back like that, and steal his wife.
According to the former skier, Mill was ready to take the bullet, but it was Norman who pulled the trigger. The tennis star Evert filed for divorce from her ex-husband Mill in November 2006, and the reason given was “irreconcilable differences.” She got married to Norman in 2008, but they separated in September 2009. The reason for the separation was that their marriage was “irretrievably broken,” according to Australian Associated Press (AAP) reports.
