Haas’ Team Principal, Guenther Steiner, on multiple occasions, hinted at a possible change in Haas’ line-up for the next season. The Italian was particularly unhappy with Grosjean this season. Hence leaving the Frenchman out of the line-up for next season would not be a surprise to a lot of people.

The news of sacking both the drivers has hinted at the fact that Haas have opted for a complete structural rejig. With the regulation changes coming up in 2022, Haas will be hoping to start afresh with two new faces and see if they could turn things around for the good.

While Grosjean has shown interest in opting for other racing series post this season in F1, Magnussen is yet to reveal his decision about his future in the sport.

The American camp currently have a wide array of options to choose from. Hence, the atmosphere within the team will not be very tense and are likely to take enough time before making a decision.

The team chasing 2 rookies seems quite unlikely as they need at least one experienced driver on their team. The only drivers that are available at the moment are Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg.

Things may finally be looking up for the Kannapolis-based outfit and this will be an opportunity they would hate to waste.
