It’s been a long, long time since the Douglas County Tigers last defeated the Carrollton Trojans. In fact, you’d have to go back over 60 years to find the last time they claimed victory over their rivals. Poor Tigers! They’ve dropped their last nine matchups in the sporadic on-again-off-again 26-game series. This season too, their luck seemed to be not in their favor. Carrollton High was the clear victor who defeated Douglas County by a wide margin 49-28 on November 1. The fight has been neck-to-neck leaving fans gasping for breath.

The snaps are enough to give the fans chills. And all that we could see on Friday evening was the running backs stealing all the spotlight for the Trojans. The first one in line was RB Kimauri Farmer, who gifted Trojans fans with seven touchdowns in one evening. Isn’t that impressive? Along with this, the player rushed for 151 yards that came with running a 37-yard screen pass. It’s time to focus on the next hero of the evening.

RB Messiah Satterwhite rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Well, don’t you think we are missing out on someone? If you are a true Carrollton fan, you must be aware of how things are going to change from the next season. All thanks to their 5-star QB recruit who has already given his word to the other Trojans, USC, and soon part ways with his high school program.

The Carrollton QB star craze as CFB coaches vie for his commitment

Along with the RBs, Julian Lewis played a big role in helping Carrollton with the 34th all-time region title. As the QB’s high school journey is nearing the end, he made the most use of the opportunity to only go away with good memories. After all, the first state title since 1998. And all thanks to Carrollton High for making the player that Lewis is today.

The “JuJu” craze has been so real that from Colorado Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders to USC Trojans HC Lincoln Riley, everyone seems to be obsessing over landing the 5-star QB commit. Even though the Trojans are at a better place since he has already been committed to USC, even then they can’t be absolutely sure since multiple doors are open for Lewis.

As of now, it’s Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes who went to great lengths to woo the player. Plus Julian Lewis is going to get a platter ready since he will be filling the Buffs QB Shedeur’s position, who now leads the charts with $6.2 million in NIL. However, as of now, the QB has more crucial things to focus on since Carrollton will be facing off against Dacula on November 15. Will Lewis be able to maintain the 13-straight wins at home streak, or is he already eyeing a new jersey?
