When did Milos Raonic think of bringing in a nutritionist?
Raonic explained in an interview with ATPTour.com that he always asks himself what he can do better and in 2013, he thought he could make the most impact. Hence after taking advice from his team, he felt that he has to give attention to his diet. Subsequently, Raonic added a nutritionist to his team.
What changes did Raonic bring in his diet?
Raonic’s diet has changed every two or three years in order to solve certain issues. However, the most significant change he brought in his diet was “skipping deserts” and “eating red meat less often.”

“I have it every once in a while, but much more rarely: tiramisu. It’s by far my favorite dessert. I don’t eat red meat that often. Maybe once or twice every two weeks, and now a big part of it has been regimenting the times I eat,” he said.
He has added fish in his diet as he was not a big fan of fish earlier. However, It’s something that he is eating almost daily to have the source of protein throughout his day.
“That’s one that’s changed quite a bit. There are different kinds of veggies and things that I’ve added, but I’d say fish was the one because it is such a big part of what I consume nowadays. It’s probably the most significant change,” he added.

When does Raonic eat after his match?
The Canadian tries to get something in right away within the first 45 minutes to an hour after a match. He revealed that earlier he would stretch after a match, do his cooldown, do press and all those things.

However, now he does his cooldown because that’s a priority right after, but then he will eat before going for the press and all the other things that fall after it. “It’s just been a shift in priorities in that sense,” he noted.
“That is how quickly I’m eating after a match and those kinds of things. That’s what has changed a lot over the past period of time. It’s a lot more structured and so forth,” he concluded.
