On the last lap of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Mick Schumacher avoided a potentially worrying crash. The incident in question involved Haas drivers Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin. On the last lap of the race, Schumacher was charging to overtake his teammate, who decided to defend his position too aggressively. Both of the drivers were way over 300 km/h and any contact between the cars would have been disastrous.

Mick was clearly the quicker of the two, and Mazepin was struggling with an issue with his car. But the Russian was not in the mood to budge and give his position. Ultimately, however, Schumacher avoided contact with a move and finished in front of his teammate.
