“I’m Not Kidding” – Ninja About to Quit Call of Duty Warzone for New Game

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is an experienced gamer and a popular streamer on Mixer. While his primary game has been Fortnite over the last couple of years, for the last month he has been immersed in Call of Duty Warzone. From the looks of it though, Ninja has sworn off the title.
Call of Duty Warzone is Infinity Ward’s first venture into the Battle Royale genre. While it was an instant hit with more than 30 million downloads within 10 days, it also comes with its share of issues.
Firstly, it’s the debate that will probably go on forever, the aim-assist on controllers. PC users believe that the controller gives their counterparts an unfair advantage, while console players believe it’s a lot easier with a mouse. (Nerf down the aim-assist, I say!)

Secondly, the audio. Many users feel the audio in the game is not up to the mark. There are times when you cannot hear the footsteps of a player coming around the corner. You only realize someone’s there when you come face to face.
Another issue is something that is common in BR games; hackers.
Hackers ruin the game for everyone. It causes enough frustration for some players to simply give up on the game. However, the developers are doing what they can to permaban these cheats.
Ninja bids adieu to Call of Duty Warzone?
Coming back to Ninja, the popular streamer won the weekly tournament.
Won week 3 of Warzone Wednesday’s, I filled in for @HusKerrs who is an absolute beast and was still able to win with @JoshOG @diegosaurs
Big mood

The crazy thing about me filling for Josh and Diego is that if they didn’t win this week, I would have gotten absolutely FLAMED by articles and critics.
Good game thing we clutched 😅

However, Ninja is not too happy with the game. The game remains strewn with hackers and it is putting Ninja off the game it seems.

I’m not kidding, 7/8 solo games after Warzone Wednesday I had a hacker kill me at airport; and chase me across the map after I won a gulag and kill me again.
Thank God Valorant beta goes live tomorrow.

It’s such a shame. I feel the exact same way. People tweeting me “stop playing then” or “stop complaining”
I fucking love Warzone. I really do think it’s a damn blast.
Skill based matchmaking combined with hackers every game ruins it. Such a shame.

As you can see, he is certainly looking forward to the Valorant beta already. Not surprising given how thrilled he was about the upcoming game when he first tried it out.

You can expect Ninja to be all in for Valorant, at least for a while now. If Call of Duty Warzone want Ninja to stay, they’ll have to work on weeding out the issues in the game.
Can’t say we disagree with him. However, let’s wait and see what changes the new week brings in Warzone.
