Hitman has been one of the most popular video game franchises of all time. The latest release in the long line of successful titles, Hitman 3, has fascinated fans of the series and has already been a great success. In terms of storyline and gameplay mechanics, many are even considering it to be the epitome of the Agent 47 experience. The sales return very much proves just how big of a success this title has been.
IO Interactive had uploaded a tweet following the release of this title, which says that Hitman 3 is currently the biggest digital launch in the history of the franchise. Furthermore, the latest title in the franchise has also topped the UK charts for the sales of the physical copies.
The title had even snatched the #1 position from Animal Crossing for a week (17th to 23rd of January).

As far as the current plans go, the DLC will be based on reimagining and twisting the existing locations. Since Hitman 3 is the last title in the trilogy, Large said that the devs can incorporate the previous titles in the DLC as well.
Well, looks like IO Interactive is not ready to let go of Agent 47 anytime soon. And frankly, neither are we.
