Former World No. 1 Andy Murray has been on the Tour for well over a decade. He has gone on to become one of the most successful players in the history of this sport. However, injuries have troubled him over the past few seasons, which has led to him missing a majority of events.
Recently, Andy Murray was seen competing at the Cincinnati Open 2021. He played his opening round match against Richard Gasquet and came out on top as the winner in straight sets, 6-4 6-4. After the match got over, Andy was seen handing over a few wristbands to a young kid in the stands. His mother, Judy Murray, came across the clip that surfaced online and was touched by Andy’s kind act. She commented, “❤️”.

Andy Murray kicks off US Open Series with a win
The match was a great start for Andy, as he won his first hardcourt match during the US Open Series campaign. Beating an opponent like Richard can be tricky as he has been one of the veterans on the Tour.
Coming to his season so far, Murray was supposed to compete at the Australian Open but couldn’t make it due to the COVID-19 restrictions. He made an appearance in Rome, where he was seen practicing with World No. 1 Novak Djokovic. He did compete in the doubles event but did not go too deep into the event.
