It was only after his brush with death due to a heart attack in 2021 that Kali Muscle changed his ways. However, most of his videos trying to educate people about healthy food and lifestyle have come under fire. Fans often disagree with the bodybuilder’s take on what’s healthy and what’s not. However, this time they criticized him for what they dubbed a distasteful reaction to an old video. 

“You Won’t Believe This,“ Kali Muscle wrote in the video’s caption as he reacted to how handmade candy is prepared. Interestingly, Muscle himself appeared in the video. In fact, the bodybuilder even lends a helping hand in shaping the candy. However, fans found the bodybuilding veteran’s reaction to watching the hot sugar syrup getting shaped into candy distasteful.

Kali Muscle didn’t seem to acknowledge his presence in the earlier video shot when he visited the famous Logan’s Candies. Logan’s Candies is a family business that opened its doors to customers in 1933, and their handmade candies remain famous to this day. However,now  Kirkendall has taken to questioning the ingredients they use.

The fitness influencer asked if the candy’s base had “high fructose corn syrup,“ in it. He also questioned the food colors that were used in making the candy. Muscle asked if Logan’s Candies used “Red 40,“ and “Blue 60,” artificial pigments to color their candies. Muscle even wondered how much sugar and calories the candy contained.

Kali Muscle also tagged the renowned family business in his post. While Logan’s Candies didn’t respond to the bodybuilder, fans did. Bodybuilding and fitness fans called out the fitness influencer in the comments section.

“Bro don’t act surprised, you’re in the video,“ pointed out one follower. “Bro, just stop. You used to make videos on how to make the most unhealthy food. You also sold some of the worst supplements in the industry. Now you’re trying to scare everyone…“ wrote a fan, highlighting what they saw as Muscle’s hypocrisy. “React to all that top ramen you consumed and educate the people, not slander a business that opened its doors to you brotha…” commented another former Kali Muscle fan.

These people let you into their family business, showed you how they made their candy, they treated you with respect and now you stab them in the back. This is your legacy now,“ wrote an angry fan. “This is just horrible. Leave these guys alone! @loganscandies are amazing and lovely people. Just stop,“ wrote an IFBB Pro.
