The Purple & Gold fans are beside themselves with joy at the unbelievable comeback of the Lakers. And all thanks to LeBron James going off in the fourth quarter. It seems like the King just decided he wasn’t going to let the Clippers take home the win tonight. But it was not just LeBron fans or Lakers fans that were in awe.

Bron’s trusty teammate Anthony Davis had a fanboy moment himself. Talking to the media post-game, he said of James’ 3-pointers, “To witness it from the sideline, it was definitely a fanboy moment.”

And who wouldn’t be? Pretty sure everyone resonates with AD on that. LeBron James practically carried his team to victory. The Clippers were comfortably moving along to the final quarter when Bron switched to beast mode. The opening minutes of the fourth read LA at 77 and the other LA at 98. That’s a 21-point difference.

The 4x champion hit five of his seven three-pointers of the night, which by the way is his season-high, in the last round. And all this while outscoring the Clippers on his own 19-16! Not to mention, the man either assisted or landed 11 of the team’s 13 baskets. The whole thing was so insane that “The Brow” had another hilarious observation to make.

No one said it better than Anthony Davis

Referring to the mindset that LeBron James had going into the fourth quarter, Davis said, “LeBron went into sicko mode and rattled off like 40 straight.”

While this is quite comical, the truth of this remark cannot be dismissed. Bron finished the night with 34 points, eight assists, and six rebounds while shooting 61.9% from the field. The ‘Akron Hammer’ did not even allow a breathing space for the Clippers when he was bulldozing his way, scattering everyone like ninepins.

Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, with 1:12 left on the clock, tried a last-ditch attempt. But Bron hit the final nail in the coffin with a long pass to Cam Reddish, who nailed it with a resounding dunk! That sound was music to each and every Lakers fan present in the arena. But for the Clippers, it was the KO bell.

And just like that, the “Hallway Series” has come to an end. The next time the LA Lakers will meet them will be at the Clippers’ very own Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
