Uruguay striker Luis Suarez shared a beautiful message for Leo Messi following Argentina’s shocking exit from the FIFA World Cup. Team-mates at Barcelona, these two are great off-field mates and the message will give you real friendship goals.

Speaking to Cadena COPE following Uruguay’s triumph over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, Suarez said,” As a friend of Leo, and putting myself in his skin, it’s been a very complicated day. I don’t wish that on anybody. I’ll support him as a friend and teammate so that he gets his head back up as soon as possible.”

Messi has had to endure a terrible few years with his national side, losing out to Germany and Chile in the finals of 3 successive international tournaments between 2014 and 2016. His exceptional hat-trick against Bolivia ensured that Argentina would make it through to the finals of the World Cup but the side flattered to deceive during their stay in Russia.
