Soccer Star Claims He Would Eat ‘Horsesh**’ if He Saw Cristiano Ronaldo Doing the Same

The return of Cristiano Ronaldo to the Premier League has been incredible. After leaving United in 2009, the forward won several titles with Real Madrid and cemented his legacy amongst the greatest soccer players in the game’s history. The Portuguese is also known for his dedication to fitness and maintains a strict diet.

Hence, many players follow his training routines and diets to become like him. Troy Deeney, the Birmingham City forward has taken his dedication to another level and made a hilarious claim about trying to emulate Ronaldo.

Deeney wants to eat like Cristiano Ronaldo

United third-choice goalkeeper Lee Grant spoke about how players now follow Ronaldo with his food habits. Likewise, Deeney said that he wants to follow the same path as Ronaldo. He recently put an Instagram post stating he wants to do the routines that CR7 does. Deeney mentioned:

“If I saw Ronaldo eating horseshit for a pre-match meal, I’d eat it too.”

The first time he made his debut against Bolton Wanderers, Ronaldo tricked his way past many players and showcased his talents. From there, his hard work helped to become one of the best players in the game’s history.

After his fantastic performances in Manchester, he moved to Real Madrid and scored tons of goals. Right foot, left foot, headers, volleys, penalties, and free kicks became a customary sight for the Madridistas. Moreover, despite being 36 years old, CR7 is one of the fittest players out there. Some of his workout routines are incredible and other players stand in awe of his commitment.

For Deeney’s sake, let’s hope Ronaldo sticks to more traditional pre-match meals if they ever share a dressing room.
