On Wednesday, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen performed a gracious gesture for the media and the fans. After the test session, drivers normally go to the media pen and give their statements and answer questions. But this time, F1 journalist, Will Buxton noticed something interesting about the Dutchman.

In a tweet, he said, “Max did a good thing tonight. Media session was delayed. After 20 minutes he emerged but was whisked away again after 2. But he refused. Came back and made sure we all got a question. Might not have done that last year. Mature awareness of expectation on him.”

The 21-year old has matured a lot since his F1 debut back in 2015 as a Toro Rosso driver. Many have often perceived him as arrogant but now, his general attitude seems to be improving.

As of now, Verstappen and his new teammate, Pierre Gasly are currently in the penultimate day of testing. All 10 teams are anxiously going ahead with their plans and gathering as much data as possible.

Hopefully, the 2019 season can bring all the teams closer together and make Mercedes sweat.
