There were numerous spins and the likes of Charles LeClerc, Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Nico Hulkenberg, were caught out. Sadly, for all of them except for Hamilton, they went no further. There came a point when Lance Stroll was in contention for a shock podium and even Carlos Sainz.

But, it was Sebastian Vettel, who pulled off a heck of a comeback to snatch second place. With Lewis Hamilton out of out of commission and well down the order, Vettel and Max Verstappen grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
