Regardless of what the future holds, Mick Schumacher is putting the odds of racing in Formula 1 on his side, relying on the expert advice of Nicolas Todt to guide his career.

After his endorsement by Ferrari and his entry into the Scuderia’s Driver Academy, Schumacher is expected to join Todt’s powerful All Road Management stable of drivers according to Motorsport.com, a group that includes new Ferrari recruit Charles Leclerc.

The French manager, the son of FIA president and former Scuderia boss Jean Todt, has built himself a strong network of contacts and partnerships over the years, from the karting and junior categories to Formula 1.

Ferrari has also confirmed Schumacher’s Ferrari Drivers Academy deal. They also announced that he will be joined by fellow Formula 2 racers Callum Ilott and Giuliano Alesi. Other racers include Marcus Armstrong, Robert Schwartzman, Enzo Fittipaldi and Gianluca Petecof.

New team principal of Ferrari, Mattia Binotto, was an engineer at the Maranello team when Michael Schumacher enjoyed his run of five straight titles from 2000 to 2004.
