Game of Thrones is one of the most popular television series in the world at the moment. But what happens when the most popular TV series meets one of the fastest racing series, Formula One? The answer is F1 legend and double world champion, Mika Hakkinen taking GoT star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for a spin in Monaco.

Danish actor Coster-Waldau plays Jaime Lannister on the show Game of Thrones. In a short clip on Instagram, Mika Hakkinen took the Dane for a ride in the McLaren P1 back in 2018 at the Monaco Grand Prix. The actor was clearly enjoying the experience, and Mika Hakkinen later put up the caption, “What do you think is my Game of Thrones name? Slayer of Tracks?”

Game of Thrones is currently in its eighth and final season and has already released its first episode. The second one is set to air in two days time on Sunday.
