It looks like when the Orange Army was invited to the Dutch GP, Lewis Hamilton received an invite too. While some lauded his outfit, others made memes; F1 twitter strikes again.

Lewis Hamilton – F1’s style icon

It goes without a doubt that Lewis Hamilton never fails to impress with his outfits. While other drivers arrive in their merch or their team’s t-shirts, Lewis isn’t made for ordinary. Making heads turn every week, it’s no surprise Hamilton is associated with big fashion brands and their events.

Lewis courageously repped his rival’s color on his home soil. A sly chess move, Lewis knows how to use his strengths to his benefit. Also, race after race, the reigning seven-time champion has been disrespected by the same fans whose territory he steps on. As such, Hamilton made a fashion statement in its true meaning.

However, recently, a former F1 driver mocked Hamilton’s wardrobe choices. So for Hamilton to go loud and unabashed this week – it was praiseworthy. And a majority of the fans thought so too; orange was the new black on Twitter.

The memes make their way

F1 twitter would admittedly be incomplete without its memes; the fans didn’t hold back with this one. The obvious Orange Army memes found their way to the timeline.

And then came the real ones. Twitter is harsh these days.

Although nothing too harsh, the reactions were hilarious. While Hamilton is seemingly ready for the Dutch GP, we are only days away from witnessing the championship battle resume. Which team of orange are you repping? Hamilton, Verstappen… or Norris?
