“Not an Acceptable Excuse” – Aaron Boone Brutally Ejects $40 Million New York Yankees Star From the 2022 Postseason

Starting Tuesday, October 11, the American League Division Series begins in which the Yankees will be playing against the Cleveland Guardians. Very recently, the Yankees manager, Aaron Boone, informed the media of pitcher, Aroldis Chapman, getting ejected from the postseason roster.
General Manager and Senior Vice President, Brian Cashman, of the New York Yankees also came in to share his thoughts over Boone taking Chapman out of the postseason at this crucial time.

For the third time in the past decade, the Yankees won the American League East Division title, and later, their star player, Aaron Judge, also became the leader of AL’s most home runs in a season.
Why did Aaron Boone take Chapman out of the postseason roster?
According to the manager Aaron Boone, Chapman was supposed to be there in NYC Friday for a mandatory workout of the team, which the pitcher missed out on.

Chapman missing out on the postseason’s workout was “not an acceptable excuse.” Because of that, Boone thought it best for Chapman to “stay away for now.”

Later, General Manager Brian Cashman also shared his thoughts on Chapman’s decision of missing out on the workout. He said, “You got to be all in at this time of year, it’s disappointing.”

The reason behind Chapman missing out on the workout is still unknown. But the pitcher is now in Miami, and Boone has informed everyone that Chapman is now out of the postseason roster. He also added that it is for his own good.
How has Chapman played this season?
The Cuban-born relief pitcher, Aroldis Chapman, debuted in Major League Baseball on August 31, 2010, and played for the Cincinnati Reds. The player started playing for the New York Yankees in 2017 and now has a net worth of $40 million.
