Fans can hype you up and bring you down quite fast. This time it was YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul, who got caught with the MLB fans’ ruthlessness.

During yesterday night’s match between Marlins and Padres, he got the honor to throw out the first pitch. Naturally,  Bizaardvark actor wanted to try his hand at batting as well. Because the chance may never come again.

However, he became the target of roasts when a video of him practicing batting before the game got viral.

What did Jake Paul do that made him the main target of MLB fans?

The boxer Jake was supposed to throw out the ceremonial pitch at the LoanDepot Park on August 16, ahead of the Miami Marlins v/s San Diego Padres match. But, it was not the ceremonial pitch that stole the show in the end but the batting practice.

‘The problem child’ wanted to try his hands at batting as well, and his comical missed swings made him the target of the roasts. It was also pretty clear that he had never played baseball before.

Everybody knows that Jake Paul is not a baseball player, but he is an athlete with a pretty huge ego to match. It was expected of him to have at least one good swing while practicing, even if it was for fun.

Fans did not leave him with one ounce of dignity

Marlins fans literally destroyed the with their roasts.

One fan questioned his ability to be an athlete.

Some of the roasts were hilarious as well.

Whatever may have happened in the batting practice, Jake threw the ceremonial pitch at the match. And Marlins won the match by 4-3.
