Alex Rodriguez praises Candace Parker for her empowering message 

WNBA star Candace Parker recently shared a powerful message promoting young girls’ involvement in sports. She did so as part of the Lean In Together Campaign started by the Lean In Organization. MLB legend Alex Rodriguez has come out in support of that message and shared a Tweet praising Parker. He recognized the WNBA star for inspiring young girls and women like his own daughters. Furthermore, he encouraged his 1.2 million Twitter followers to share the message.

In a Tweet, Rodriguez said, “I’m so proud of what my daughters have already accomplished, and all that they’ll do in the future. It’s been made possible with the help of leaders like @candace_parker. Let’s keep going! #LeanInTogether.” This is a huge gesture from the former New York Yankees star as he hopes to further spread Parker’s message.

To help convince her, he enlisted the help of Tom Brady, who is an alumnus of the college. The tactic seems to have worked as just last week, Natasha announced that she would be pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan.
