Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez achieved a tremendous amount of success in his playing career. He had the amount of sporting talent that helped him to maintain a smooth run and break out of shackles. Alex Rodriguez married Cynthia Scurtis in 2002. They had two daughters from their wedlock. However, in 2008, Cynthia decided to divorce ‘A-Rod’, citing his extra-marital affairs as a reason. 

During that year, ‘A-Rod’ faced allegations of having romantic escapades with the pop music megastar, Madonna. Albeit, both Alex, and Madonna, denied ever dating, it still couldn’t save his marriage. Amid negotiating a divorce and dating rumors, ‘A-Rod’ met basketball legend, Shaquille O’Neal at a clubhouse.

O’Neal is honorably a 15-time All-Star, with four NBA final trophies to his credit. He began playing as the center for Orlando Magic. Later, he also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics, respectively. 

Alex A-Rod Rodriguez and Shaquille O’Neal Have a Partnership That Goes Way Beyond MLB and NBA

‘A-Rod’ organized a party at the 40/40 Clubhouse in 2008. O’Neal was among the guests attending the event. ‘A-Rod,’ and O’Neal, huddled for about 30 seconds. Though, what they discussed still remains unclear, O’Neal might have lent some humanitarian words of support to ‘A-Rod’.

Amidst some dating rumors, ‘A-Rod’ is still living life as a caring single father to his two daughters. He also had a glamorous relationship with the famous pop sensation, Jennifer Lopez, which broke apart in 2021.
