Adam Wainwright reflected on his experiences at Fenway Park. He shared his thoughts on his Twitter account. The post read, “What a place. Before my start the other day I took a few moments to appreciate this incredible venue. Knowing it would be my last start here and feeling blessed to have opportunities like this over the years. Tonight, I wanted one more look.” Wainwright lastly played at Fenway Park in a 6-8 win for the Cardinals. He pitched in five innings and earned two strikeouts.

Adam Wainwright started his MLB career in 2005 and has played 459 games since then. With an astonishing win-loss record of 195-117, Wainwright had a win percentage of 0.675. Registering an ERA of 3.39, he has claimed 2154 knockouts at a WHIP of 1.22. In the ongoing season, he has not started many games and will look to make the most of his next opportunity.
