The couple with a 7 year age gap are a testament to how love is all about compatibility and understanding. This starry wedding had a presidential galore with exuberant presents as a cherry on top.

Albert Pujols Showered Upon With Blessings, Love and Expensive Gifts

The 11 time All-Star player, Pujols and Nicole Fernández tied the knot this on September 2, in an intimate ceremony with a brief guest list of 100 close family and friends. Their dream wedding was held at the Anacaona tower, an exclusive establishment situated in the Dominican Republic.

Pujols’s partner Nicole, the daughter of Leonel Fernandez, former president of the Dominican Republic, smiles away displaying pure bliss adding a presidential touch. Throwback to an Instagram post in March, she addressed her engagement as, “let the wedding fun begin” and this is how it turned out.

As one of the most influential people of DR, it was a no brainer that her wedding would intimate. However, exclusive the wedding itself was, both partners have been vocal about their beautiful relationship on social media. Since them becoming official, the much awaited marriage welcomed good wishes and lots of extravagant gifts.

Albert and his father in law displayed the wedding list published in the home goods store Trellis Home Décor. Here one could appreciate gift options that were hand picked for this event particularly. This was proof of how unique the wedding was.

The gifts varied across price ranges. Such as $89 for 36 Foglia brand plates and $105 for 8 cups of Lily del Valle brand coffee. All the way up to $1,592 for a Persian cat sculpture and $2,200 for a woman’s head planter with bananas, were among the most expensive gifts.

Albert Continues Coparenting Responsibly With Ex-Wife

The world is not foreign to Albert’s shaky over two decade long marriage with Deidre. According to NYPost, in April 2022, Albert initiated divorce proceedings following 22 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the grounds for their separation.

Announcing his divorce, Pujols said, “sadly, after 22 years of marriage, I have made the decision to file for divorce from my wife, Deidre.” This decision put their kids in a questionable position.
