One year before A-Rod’s popular opt-out controversy, the slugger reached the New York Yankees camp with a significantly lower body fat percentage, having reduced it from 16% to 9%. From that point forward Alex Rodriguez established the importance of a fit physique to continue performing in his sport, which made him a celebrity. Now, almost 15 years down the line, at the age of 47, A-Rod continues to maintain his physical fitness, and quite regularly.
Recently, after A-Rod’s relationship with model Kathryne Padgett came to an end, the slugger started dating fitness coach Jaclyn Cordeiro. Since his new relationship with a fitness guru began, the slugger’s motivation for working out and fitness has been reignited.

The World Champion and 14-time All-Star uploaded a video of his workout, where he enthusiastically immersed himself in chin-ups.
