Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez Once Made an Unpopular Move With Their $750 Million Combined Fortune on Thanksgiving

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s relationship began shortly after they first met in 2017. The couple was adorable and loved by their fans. And their alluring nature stemmed from their captivating public appearances, whose underlying emotion was happiness, support, and comfort.

Analogous to a wholesome and complete relationship, their fans consistently displayed waves of love toward them. However, it wasn’t always like that.

Back in 2020, A-Rod and JLo upset their fans by uploading an image in a private jet, traveling back to their home to celebrate Thanksgiving. However, this was during the pandemic, and their fans didn’t receive this exorbitant display of wealth positively.

Shortly before Thanksgiving, A-Rod and JLo were heading back home to celebrate Thanksgiving. The video displayed JLo lying down in a Hermes quilt in a luxurious plane.

The caption of the photo said, “We have so much to be grateful for and are excited to be heading home to spend time with family. What are your holiday plans?”

Naturally, fans weren’t happy with this exorbitant display of wealth and reacted with various negative comments towards the couple.

Some of them said, “People are really really struggling. Maybe don’t post your enormous wealth on a private plane with Hermes blankets. Compassion is all you need right now.” While another fan said, “Must be nice to travel. Most of us don’t have that luxury.” Several other fans also reacted to this post with negative comments about the then-couple.

After announcing his retirement from the world of baseball, A-Rod moved to pursue his business dreams. A-Rod Corp, which he founded in 1996, was his first target. Ensuing his retirement, he started devoting time to A-Rod Corp and built it to a brand new level.

Today, he’s part owner of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and chairperson of Presidente Beer. He’s also constructed a name for himself in the world of broadcasting. Most recently, he called the National League postseason with Fox Sports alongside David Ortiz and Frank Thomas.
