After making seven homers in seven games, Trout is already tied with many elite players. If he makes another home run in the next game, he will be tying up with The Hit Man.

Who is the Hit Man that Mike Trout will get tied with?

As soon as Prince Fish hits another home run in tonight’s game, he will be tying up with none other than the Yankees legend Donald Arthur ‘hit man’ Mattingly.

Not only Mattingly but Trout will also be tying up with Pittsburgh Pirates’ first baseman, Dale Long, who hit 8 home runs in 8 consecutive games in the 1956 season.

Earlier this year, Trout got diagnosed with a rare back condition, known as costovertebral dysfunction at T5 in his spine. This kept him out of the lineup from July 12.

While the team awaited his return, he focused on getting better. He met with a spine specialist Dr. Robert Watkins, after which he became optimistic to come back on the field and play.
