Anthony Rizzo is fit to start against the Seattle Mariners

The news of Anthony’s fitness is a relief for everyone involved with the franchise. Talin Baseball shared, quoting Max Goodman on their Twitter profile. The caption read, “Anthony Rizzo is fine, and the Yankees expect that he will play tomorrow in Seattle.” 

It comes after Rizzo left the game midway after getting hurt during the game. He got injured while making applying the tag. It was a collision between Rizzo and Tatis Jr. After the incident, Rizzo was on the ground for a few minutes before leaving it as a precautionary measure. The New York Yankees shared, “Anthony Rizzo left today’s game for precautionary reasons after injuring his neck in the collision at first base.”

The Yankees fans have loved the news because of the importance of the player. Rizzo has done well this season with crucial outings for the team. In 53 appearances this season, Rizzo has 30 runs and 11 home runs. The player is currently averaging 0.304 with an OPS of 0.880 and has been involved in 32 RBIs. Barring the last few games, Rizzo has been an effective figure on the team and fans. It is obvious for them to share their happiness over his fitness update!
