Ripken has been a motivational figure for another MLB legend, Derek Jeter, who has admired Ripken all his life.

Meanwhile, Shohei Ohtani made his debut with the Angels in the year 2018. He has played 607 games so far. He has an impressive average of 0.269. Ohtani can hit big and has 137 home runs to his credit. Because of his skills, he can play multiple roles. One of them is his pitching, and that’s why he is called “a two-way-phenom.”
