Schilling is a big fan of the Boston Bruins, which plays in the NHL. He follows them regularly and has been a local supporter of the team. After the Bruins lost their playoffs game, Schilling reacted to the loss and wrote, “Crushed to see the B’s season end so quickly but having been on the field and in situations like this my first move is a tip of the cap to the @FlaPanthers they earned every ounce of this. Boston was far from their best but much of that was due to their opponents. Still, love my team though”

Considering, the Boston Bruins were the favorite for the Championship, their loss came as shocking to Curt. The Panthers played well from the start and scored in each quarter to maintain the pressure on the Bruins.
