Ortiz calling out people to compare him with Rodriguez, shared, “People often want you to be what they want, and I don?t agree with that, because not even the fingers on your hands are the same.? Moreover, he also criticized people for continuously wanting him to be like Rodriguez.

Ortiz said, “People always want to be comparing, ?Ah, David Ortiz has to be like Alex Rodriguez?. Why can?t Alex Rodriguez be like me?” The World Series winner also focused on the unique qualities two friends have. Keeping aside his ego, he said, “I have some things that are better than Alex Rodriguez, and Alex Rodriguez has more some things better than me.???
