Despite being one of the greatest New York Yankees captains, his personal accolades did not define Derek Jeter’s career in the ballpark. It was the way Derek Jeter carried himself, sponged pressure, and displayed this fearless emotion that intimidated any opponent that made him so special. His attitude found a place in the heart of every New Yorker. Hence, making him so special.

Eventually, in 2012, Derek Jeter started dating a swimsuit model and ex-tennis player Hannah Davis. The couple tied knot in July 2016. And through his incessant need to compete and win, Derek Jeter found Hannah Davis, who was born with that very same emotion.

While talking about the time she traded her career in tennis for a modeling career, Hannah said, “It was devastating when I gave it up,”

Moving on, she spoke about the competitive spirit that lived inside her, just like her husband, Derek Jeter, who was extremely popular for his intimidating, competitive, and perpetually fighting nature. While talking about that, she said, “I don’t know how to play for fun, because I played to compete, to win. I hope one day I can get back into it. I think that would be sort of healing for me.”

Jeter’s MLB career came to an end in 2014 after he spent 20 years with the New York Yankees. Three years in, the Yanks made a unanimous decision to add a plaque with Derek Jeter’s name to Monument Park and retire his jersey number two,
