When the season started, the name of Arizona Diamondbacks was not on the list of the teams expected to make it to the World Series. However, that all changed as the season progressed. They played well by checking all the boxes to make it to the playoffs. The team spirit was the reason behind it.

The same spirit was visible in their backing to Brandon Pfaadt to pitch in the deciding game in the NLCS. Considering his challenges during the league stages, he required all the support he could get. It all came his way before the game and turned into praise after his outing. This happened after the pitcher took seven strikeouts to put Diamondback in the World Series.
