Boston Red Sox has been one of the biggest shockers of the current season. The 9-times World Series champions have become the Robin Hood of Major League Baseball in the ongoing season. Because, being one of the strongest teams, they are giving free points to small teams like the Baltimore Orioles and Cincinnati Reds.
In the last two games against the Orioles and Reds, the Red Sox have scored just one run from the plate. It is more than enough, to sum up, their current form. First, they lost a five-game series against the Orioles, and now the Red Sox are on the verge of losing the two-game series against the Cincinnati Reds.

When their arch-rival, the New York Yankees, is setting a new benchmark in the American League, the Red Sox are losing to mediocre teams like the Orioles and Reds.
Boston Red Sox fans rage after the “embarrassing” loss
Right from the start of the regular season, the Boston Red Sox have been struggling to win games. Their season began with a series loss against the New York Yankees. And now, they are losing against the Orioles and Reds.
Forget the Orioles’ series, the recent defeat against the Reds will haunt them for days. Because the Cincinnati Reds are the team with the worst record in the 2022 season. What is more horrifying is that the Reds have defeated the Red Sox for the first time in 45 years in Fenway Park.

Even if the Red Sox recover in the coming games, the Yankees will be far ahead of them. So it will be more than difficult for them to catch the Yankees and make it to the playoffs.
