On May 3rd, 2022, the Miami Marlins faced the Arizona Diamondbacks at the Marlins Park in Florida. The Marlins ended up losing the game on home turf as the Diamondbacks won the game 5-4. Among many in the stands, Charles Leclerc, the motorsports racing driver for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1, enjoyed the game; Notably, he is currently in Miami for the 2022 Miami Grand Prix.

Leclerc is currently preparing for the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, which will be held on Sunday, May 8th, 2022, at the Miami International Autodrome in Florida. The Miami Marlins faced the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 3rd, 2022.

Despite it being the home game for the Marlins, they lost the game 4-5. The Marlins are second in the NL East Division with 12 wins and 11 losses, whereas the Arizona Diamondbacks are at the last position in the NL West Division with 12 wins and 13 losses.

F1 fans and MLB fans were super thrilled after seeing pictures of Charles Leclerc with some players of the Miami Marlins. Leclerc played catch with Marlins right fielder Avisail Garcia. And he was pretty good at it. He also practiced some pitching as we saw Garcia enjoying the moment.

He also met second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr; Leclerc gifted him a jersey of Ferrari, while Chisholm Jr gifted him a Marlins jersey.

Currently, Charles Leclerc is the leader of the F1 Drivers Championship with 86 points to his name. In the 4 Grand Prix races so far, he has won 2 of them. He has been on the podium thrice in 4 games. And if we talk about his team, Scuderia Ferrari, they are leading in the 2022 Constructors Championship for the first time in many years.

Ferrari has 124 points to their name with 3 wins and 5 podiums. 24-year-old Charles Leclerc has tightened the bond between the MLB and F1 as they meet just once a year during the race.
