First, Trout’s opening up to the possibility of getting traded is the same as opening up to the possibility of coming home. Second, apart from having the comfort of being close to home, he’d be juxtaposed with the power-packed Bryce Harper. Them together would just be “apex” and he finally might have a real chance to make it to the playoffs.
