However, Soto was not alone, as his former teammate Fernando Tatis Jr. was also present at the event.
Though many other players were present at every, all the eyes were on the Soto and Tatis. Given both have had a strong connection as San Diego Padres’s teammates and friends, their meeting again emanated emotions. A brotherly love!

It has been a new beginning for Juan Soto. After all the wait, rumors, and delays, the 25-year-old finally made it to the Bronx. Notably, the left fielder signed a year deal with the 27-time champions, leaving San Diego behind. However, it seems the past has not left him as of now after his former teammate joined him for a picture and a handshake similar to many from the time together.

Tatis Jr and His Joy When Soto Made It the Padres
Many from the baseball world remember the duo of Soto and Tatis from their time on the diamond for the San Diego Padres. However, that is not entirely the case. According to dr1.com, they have known each other for years. They shared, “Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr are contemporaries. They played together as teenagers when they were 15 and 16. They will now be catching up on the friendship.”
