As the 2023 MLB season approaches its league stage end, things are getting heated for the last remaining playoff spots. Multiple teams are in the race to keep their dream alive, and teams are almost out. One of them is the Los Angeles Angels. They currently stray 12.5 places from the wild card spot. Is Brian Cashman Ready to Accept Mike Trout’s Past Demands?

Mike Trout is a perfect fit for the New York Yankees,  who continue to strengthen themselves with the future in mind. Given his past attributes, he ticks all the boxes that can give Yanks the best they need. But the only problem is his contract and the injuries. The 32-year-old signed a $426 million contract with LA in 2019.

And if he leaves in his seventh year, around $250 million will be there to be paid. Will Brian Cashman be ready to risk it?  Given Trout has not been at his best lately, it puts a question mark on his form. Also, his struggles with the injuries are visible. Because of this, Trout has missed games regularly.

Because of this, Cashman might not want to risk it for the Angels star. Moreover, fans have also shared similar thoughts regarding his signing. But if this deal goes ahead, is Trout ready to wear the pinstripes to extend his MLB career?
