It’s been a great MLB season regarding the underrated teams and new players taking up the center space. One such name is Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves. The 25-year-old has shined extraordinarily this season and has registered many new records to his name. Because of this, he has captured the prime spot in the league rankings and is the projected NL MVP of the season. Due to this, everyone has an eye on him, including players. It was visible when 2020 MVP Freddie Freeman watched Acuna adding another record to his name.
Acuna homered it past the Los Angeles Dodgers’s defense by becoming the first player to hit 30 Home runs and 60 stolen bases in MLB history. Notably, he did it in front of Freeman, who played with the Braves years ago. As he watched helplessly, Acuna shining at the plate, it allowed fans to react to Freeman’s dilemma.

The contribution became crucial as the game ended on a tight note. It happened because of second on the NL MVP projections, Mookie Betts contribution. The 30-year-old scored two home runs and four RBIs at an OPS of 2.600. But his effort fell short and Acuna claimed the win, heating the MVP race.
