Since retirement, Jeter’s stage has changed from baseball field to home. Jeter has a lovely family, including four kids, that puts him in a different role. It has challenges that demand more attention, which makes it a beautiful job. Jeter recently was part of the Herd with Colin Cowherd. On the show, he also gave an insight into his life as a father in comparison with his playing days, where a lot was different.

“Do you miss sometimes though the juice of being a Yankee in center stage, and you never leaned into it?”

Jeter had an answer with a picture of the drastic change he has been going through. Jeter shared that as a Yankee, he still gets all the love, but his center of attention is not that anymore. He added, “

The center of my universe now is at home. I got four kids under six. So look, I got a lot going on too. So it went from cheers to screaming and crying and yelling, so I still hear the noise. It’s just a different type of noise.”

The answer was around his kids, namely Bella, Story, River, and Kaius. The four under six certainly are energetic and noisy like any other kid. Jeter needed the same energy before venturing out to his new journey as an analyst.

Derek Jeter did not work in the studio before, but it all changed with the London Series in June. He has become a familiar face ever since and is doing a great job.
