The Ejection of George Springer and Manager John Schneider Rocked the Toronto Blue Jays

The MLB world has seen multiple ejections this season. Though many ejections failed to affect the team’s performance, some had a negative effect. The same thing happened during the Blue Jays vs. Guardians game when George Springer and the manager John Schneider were ejected from confronting umpires.

Jomboy Media shared a clip of the episode with the caption, “George Springer and manager John Schneider were ejected after this called strike three, and they were LIVID.”

When Springer was on the plate, he left the ball hoping to be called a ball. But the umpire had another idea and called it a strike, leaving the player angry. The $150 million salaried Springer verbally confronted the umpire who ejected him. It left the manager furious, who had the same fate after he marched toward the umpire.

Notably, the entire episode happened during the seventh inning, when the Jays were trailing by a run. The entire case hampered their chase badly after they failed to score a run in the remaining innings to lose out on a score of 4-3. With this result, the series ended in a draw, displeasing fans.
